Neighbourhood Policing - Newtown NAGA Public Meeting took place at the Sun Street Community Centre on Thursday 28th February The purpose of the meeting was to find out if householders want to change their priorities for Neighbourhood Policing in Newtown. James Rosewell, vice-chair, of the (NAG), reminded us of the achievements of the NAG over the past year. Inspector Kevin Sinfield and Sergeant Dai Davies of Tames Valley Police and Rob White, a NAG member, explained some of the on-going processes. The meeting was then asked to highlight perceived problems that the NAG would consider at the next meeting. 'Neighbourhood Policing is a way of providing a tailor-made service in your area to tackle crime and other issues that stop you from feeling safe.' There are caveats including a disclaimer that states that the scores "should not be relied on as a guide to food safety."
